My family had a very pleasant and relaxing stay for two nights in paddy view cottages here while vacationing at Wayanad. My almost 5 year old kid liked the flora (plants, flowers and touch me nots) and played with fauna (frogs, birds, cats, fish). For two days we woke up to fog filled mystic lush green paddy fields among the soothing chirpings of small birds in the bush.
I’m happy to have found this hidden place which is near to Kabini and easily approachable from Nagarhole forest.
The hospitality was great. The restaurant catered to all our special veg requests and the food was tasty. I would like to thank Mr Parshu who helped us with route and also arranged a nice taxi for Wayanad site seeing.
Thank you so much for the wonderful experience. Will definitely recommend others and will visit again.

It was a great experience to stay at Mystery Maze.
We had booked 3 cottage rooms. The rooms were decent in size, and had good amenities.
The staff was the highlight of the stay, ever smiling and helpful.
The restaurant is also decent but the only drawback could be limited veg menu options to choose from. The breakfast spread is decent. Food prepared is tasty and cooked once ordered so it’s freshly made.
We planned to visit Kuruva Island Resort (600mts) from here for one lunch and dinner just for a change.
FYI if you’re planning the Nagarhole Safari from Mystery Maze: Online booking of slots is recommended (bus). If you’d like to opt for Jeeps, they’re only done offline from the booking counter 30 mts before safari.
The closest gate is the Nanachi Gate which is ~28 kms from a Mystery Maze and can be reached in 45 minutes.
We chose the 6 am safari slot and left the resort at 4.45am and reached the entry gate at 5.30.
There is no issue with border closing to reach Nanachi Gate for Safari.
Overall a pleasant stay with good offerings within the price range. Would recommend to consider this as an option and could visit again.

One of the best resorts in the given location. The hospitality annd especially the staff were really helpful and highly courteous. Nikhil, Sini, Mohammed, Abhishek and others.
This resort is located towards the Karnataka border and close to Nagarhole forest area which more dense in wild life than Bandipur. This makes it a better option and the location of the resort is in the midst of forest area.
Breakfast could be better. There is scope for improvement in it. Otherwise, food, cleanliness, parking, natural beauty were all amazing.
